Background

Community Led Initiative for Rural Development is an independent,
community based, voluntary, non-profit making, non political and non
sectarian organization.
Ciford Uganda is a fully registered CBO that was formed in 2007 with the sole
aim of improving the socio-economic wellbeing of the vulnerable through
economic and social interventions.
Ciford currently operates in Gulu, Nwoya and Amuru districts. Its offices are
located within the premises of Gulu Primary School.

Vision

Ciford Uganda envisage ‘An empowered society where children rights are
made a reality’.

Mission

The founders of Ciford Uganda strives toward Promoting social recovery and
development of war affected children and or families in Northern Uganda,
through protection, advocacy and psych social support.
